Welcome to Brighton Mencap
Brighton, Hove & District Mencap Society is one among many organisations based in the United Kingdom that help voice the rights of individuals with learning disabilities. Find out more about the services we provide and get involved.
What we do
As a group of volunteers, we in Brighton & Hove seek to provide support for local people with learning difficulties, both children and adult, as well as their families and carers. There are currently two ways we do this:
We provide grants to families and people with a learning disability, for the following:
- Local fun activities or day trips
- Weekends away or a longer holiday, perhaps with family and friends.
Trips and Activities
We liaise with a variety of other local groups, as well as sponsor various trips and activities.
